Assam Journalist Assaulted by Forest Department Officials Sparks Outrage

According to the Golaghat District Journalists’ Association, journalist Debashish Saha had gone to the Golaghat Forest Department office on the night of August 20 to gather information regarding allegations that two overloaded dumpers carrying stones and sand had allegedly been allowed to leave the premises through an improper transaction.
