Iran Expands Focus on Small-Scale Renewable Energy Initiatives

Tehran, Iran Aug 26, 2026 ALN: Iran's Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi has announced a strategic shift in the country's renewable energy development, emphasizing a growing focus on household and small-scale installations. During the inauguration ceremony for 95 megawatts of new solar power plants, including the 63-MW Qaed Shahid and 32-MW Lamerd Martyrs plants located in Tehran Province, Aliabadi highlighted that numerous renewable energy projects are currently underway across various provinces.
