Zunheboto District Prepares for State Taekwondo Championship with 45 Athletes Selected

Kohima, India Jul 14, 2026 ALN: The second edition of the Zunheboto District Taekwondo (WT) championship-cum-selection 2026 was held at the Town Hall on July 14, organized by the Zunheboto District Taekwondo (WT) Association (ZDTA). This event marks an important milestone in the promotion of taekwondo within the district and highlights the growing popularity of martial arts in the region. Taekwondo, a Korean martial art known for its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast footwork, has been gaining traction not only in India but worldwide.
