Support Wings Brings Joy to Shillong Orphanage with 'Little Smiles' Initiative

Living by this spirit, youth-led organisation Support Wings organised ‘Little Smiles’ — an engagement initiative for children at a local orphanage in Langkyrding, Shillong — bringing together 10 young volunteers for an afternoon of learning, creativity, and connection.

The initiative went beyond recreation. Volunteers led interactive sessions on children’s rights and life skills including self-awareness and values, helping children engage with meaningful ideas in a fun way. This was paired with drawing and dancing, which brought energy and laughter to the day.
