Ashghal Achieves 80% Completion on 14 New Schools Project in Qatar

Doha, Qatar Jul 30, 2026 ALN: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has achieved a significant milestone in the construction of 14 new schools as part of the second package of the Qatar Schools Development Programme, with over 80% of the project now completed. This initiative is a critical component of Qatar’s broader educational infrastructure development, aimed at enhancing the quality of education and accommodating the growing student population in the country.

HE Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer, President of Ashghal, recently conducted an inspection of the project to assess its progress. During this visit, he emphasized the importance of adhering to the approved schedule for completion while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. His guidance reflects the authority's commitment to ensuring that the project meets the expectations of the community and supports the educational needs of the country.

The Qatar Schools Development Programme is a strategic initiative that aligns with the country’s long-term vision for education and development.
