    Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear copyright complaint and removal process for material appearing on AILensNews. AILensNews aims to handle copyright concerns carefully, fairly, and responsibly while protecting the rights of copyright owners, readers, contributors, editors, advertisers, and lawful publishers.

Copyright complaints may relate to articles, images, videos, graphics, screenshots, thumbnails, audio-visual material, logos, documents, captions, excerpts, or other protected content. Some complaints may involve full copying. Others may involve missing credit, disputed ownership, alleged misuse of a photograph, unauthorized use of a video, improper use of a screenshot, use of an agency image, or republication of submitted content.

AILensNews may review each complaint based on the material involved, the rights claimed, the proof provided, the source of the content, the context of publication, any available permission, any lawful editorial basis, and any response received from a contributor or relevant party.

    Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to copyright removal requests relating to content published on ailensnews.com. It may also apply to content distributed through AILensNews newsletters, article previews, media embeds, social sharing previews, sponsored content, contributor content, promotional pages, and other AILensNews-controlled publication areas where copyright concerns arise.

This policy does not apply to unrelated third-party websites, external platforms, search engines, social media pages not controlled by AILensNews, or content hosted outside AILensNews control. If content appears on an external platform, the rights holder may need to contact that platform directly.

Where AILensNews links to external content, embeds third-party media, or references content hosted elsewhere, AILensNews may review whether the link or embed should remain, but it may not be able to remove the original material from the external source.

Who May Submit a Copyright Removal Request

A copyright removal request should be submitted only by the copyright owner, an authorized representative, an agency with authority, a publisher with valid rights, a photographer, a videographer, a creator, a license holder, or another person legally authorized to act regarding the disputed content.

A person submitting a request must have a genuine basis to claim rights in the material. AILensNews may request proof of ownership, proof of authorization, a license agreement, publication record, agency confirmation, creator declaration, original file evidence, or other supporting material where necessary.

AILensNews may reject or delay requests where the requester does not show proper authority, where the ownership claim is unclear, where the request is incomplete, or where the complaint appears to be made for reasons unrelated to copyright.

Information Required in a Copyright Complaint

A copyright removal request should be clear, specific, and evidence-based. A request should include enough information for AILensNews to identify the disputed material and assess the claim.

    A proper complaint should include:

    • the name of the copyright owner or authorized representative;• contact details of the requester;• proof of authority to act where the requester is not the owner;• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;• the exact URL on ailensnews.com where the disputed material appears;• a description of the specific article, image, video, graphic, screenshot, caption, or content being challenged;• explanation of why the use is unauthorized;• ownership evidence, license evidence, original publication link, registration details where available, original file proof, or other supporting material;• the action requested, such as removal, credit correction, replacement, restriction, or review;• a statement that the information provided is accurate;• confirmation that the requester is authorized to submit the complaint.

Incomplete, vague, broad, unsupported, abusive, or misleading complaints may not be processed until adequate information is provided.

    Where to Send Copyright Complaints

Copyright complaints and removal requests may be sent to copyright@ailensnews.com. Legal notices may be sent to legal@ailensnews.com. Formal correspondence may also be directed to Ground Floor, 1554, Pearl Madurdaha, Kolkata, West Bengal 700107, India. where required.

The subject line should clearly indicate that the message relates to a copyright removal request. This helps AILensNews route the request to the appropriate review team or contact point.

The requester should include the relevant AILensNews page URL and identify the exact disputed content. If the complaint concerns an image or video within an article, the requester should describe the specific media item so that AILensNews can locate it correctly.

    Initial Review by AILensNews

After receiving a copyright complaint, AILensNews may conduct an initial review to determine whether the request contains enough information to proceed. This may include checking the URL, identifying the disputed content, reviewing the ownership claim, checking available credits, reviewing contributor information, and considering whether the complaint appears to relate to copyright.

If the complaint is incomplete, AILensNews may request additional information. If the complaint concerns a matter outside AILensNews control, AILensNews may inform the requester where appropriate or may decline action.

Initial review does not mean that AILensNews accepts the claim. It only means that the complaint is being assessed. AILensNews may take no action, temporary action, partial action, or full action depending on the evidence and risk involved.

    Possible Actions After Review

After reviewing a copyright complaint, AILensNews may take one or more of the following actions:

    • remove the disputed content;• restrict access to the disputed content;• replace the disputed image, video, graphic, or media item;• correct or add a credit;• update a caption or source reference;• edit the article to remove disputed material;• seek clarification from the requester;• contact the contributor, advertiser, agency, or source that supplied the material;• request proof of license or permission;• reject the complaint where the claim is unsupported;• retain the content where there is a lawful basis for publication;• refer the matter for legal review;• take other action that AILensNews considers appropriate.

Removal is not automatic. AILensNews may consider whether the content is owned by AILensNews, licensed, submitted with permission, used with a proper editorial basis, supplied by an authorized party, already credited, or otherwise lawfully used.

    Temporary Restriction of Content

In some cases, AILensNews may temporarily restrict, hide, replace, or remove disputed material while reviewing a copyright complaint. Temporary restriction may be used where the claim appears credible, where the rights position is unclear, where the content is sensitive, or where continued publication may create unnecessary risk.

Temporary restriction does not mean that AILensNews accepts infringement or liability. It may be a practical step while the issue is reviewed.

AILensNews may later restore, replace, modify, credit, or permanently remove the material depending on the outcome of the review.

Content Used for News Reporting or Editorial Purpose

AILensNews may publish limited third-party material for news reporting, commentary, criticism, review, quotation, factual reference, public-interest explanation, or other lawful editorial purposes. Such material may include excerpts, screenshots, images, public posts, documents, statements, logos, or media references.

A copyright complaint involving such material will be reviewed in context. AILensNews may consider the purpose of use, amount used, nature of the work, attribution, source, public-interest relevance, effect on the original work, whether permission exists, and whether the content could be replaced or further limited.

Where AILensNews determines that the use is lawful, proportionate, and editorially justified, it may decline removal. Where the use can be improved through credit correction, caption update, replacement, excerpt reduction, or additional context, AILensNews may take such action.

    Image and Media Complaints

Many copyright complaints involve images, videos, thumbnails, graphics, screenshots, or other media assets. AILensNews may review the source, caption, credit, license, contributor information, file origin, publication context, and editorial purpose of the disputed media.

If a rights holder believes a photograph, video, or graphic has been used without permission, the complaint should include proof of ownership and identify the exact media item. If the issue relates to missing credit rather than unauthorized use, the requester should provide the correct credit details.

AILensNews may remove, replace, credit, restrict, blur, or update media where appropriate. Media rights concerns may be sent to copyright@ailensnews.com. Editorial context concerns may be sent to editorial@ailensnews.com. Legal notices may be sent to legal@ailensnews.com.

Complaints About User-Submitted or Contributor Content

AILensNews may publish content submitted by contributors, freelancers, guest authors, agencies, advertisers, sources, readers, photographers, videographers, or partners. Such submitters are responsible for ensuring that the content they provide is accurate, lawful, properly licensed, and not infringing.

If a copyright complaint concerns submitted content, AILensNews may contact the submitter for clarification, proof of rights, source information, or authorization records. AILensNews may remove or restrict the content while review is pending.

A contributor, advertiser, or agency that repeatedly submits infringing or unauthorized material may be restricted from future submissions, publication opportunities, or commercial collaboration with AILensNews.

    Sponsored Content and Advertising Material

Sponsored content and advertising material may include images, videos, logos, product visuals, testimonials, campaign assets, influencer materials, third-party graphics, music, stock content, brand assets, or other protected works. Advertisers and agencies must ensure that all submitted materials are properly cleared for publication.

AILensNews may request proof of license, brand authorization, image release, creator permission, music permission, agency clearance, or other supporting evidence. Payment for publication does not remove the need for valid rights.

If sponsored or advertising material is challenged, AILensNews may remove, restrict, revise, or replace the material and may require the advertiser or agency to resolve the issue. AILensNews may also decline future sponsored content where repeated rights issues occur.

    False, Misleading, or Abusive Requests

AILensNews may reject copyright complaints that appear false, misleading, incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, threatening, repetitive, politically motivated, commercially motivated, designed to suppress lawful reporting, or unrelated to copyright ownership.

A copyright complaint should not be used to remove criticism, opinion, public-interest reporting, factual reporting, unfavorable coverage, review content, or lawful editorial material merely because the requester disagrees with the article.

Where a complaint appears to misuse the copyright removal process, AILensNews may decline action, request further proof, retain records, or seek legal review.

    Counter-Response by Affected Parties

Where content has been removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint, the affected contributor, user, advertiser, agency, publisher, or other relevant party may submit a counter-response. The counter-response should explain why the content was lawfully submitted, licensed, original, authorized, or otherwise suitable for publication.

    A counter-response should include:

    • the person’s name and contact information;• identification of the removed or restricted material;• the original AILensNews URL where the content appeared;• explanation of the right to use the material;• proof of license, permission, ownership, or original creation where available;• statement confirming that the response is accurate;• any supporting documents or source information.

AILensNews may review the counter-response and decide whether to restore, replace, revise, restrict, or continue removing the material.

    Ownership Disputes

AILensNews may receive copyright complaints where two or more parties dispute ownership, license scope, agency rights, contributor rights, employer rights, assignment terms, image rights, or publication authority. AILensNews is not a court and may not decide complex ownership disputes between third parties.

Where ownership is unclear, AILensNews may restrict or remove the content while the parties resolve the dispute. AILensNews may request legal proof, written agreement, court order, license confirmation, creator statement, or other documentation.

AILensNews may decline to restore disputed content until the rights position is clear enough for publication.

    Repeat Infringers and Repeat Misuse

AILensNews may restrict, suspend, block, terminate, refuse, or take action against users, contributors, advertisers, agencies, partners, or other submitters that repeatedly provide infringing material, false ownership claims, unauthorized images, copied articles, unlicensed videos, stolen graphics, or misleading source information.

AILensNews may also take action against persons or websites that repeatedly copy, scrape, republish, clone, summarize, translate, extract, or commercially exploit AILensNews content without permission.

Repeat misuse of the complaint process may also lead AILensNews to reject future requests, require stronger evidence, route requests to legal review, or preserve records for dispute handling.

Removal From Search Engines and Third-Party Platforms

AILensNews may remove or restrict content on ailensnews.com where appropriate, but it may not control how quickly search engines, social media platforms, archives, caches, aggregators, or third-party websites update or remove copies, previews, snippets, thumbnails, or indexed results.

If content has been copied by third-party websites, the rights holder may need to contact those websites directly. If search results continue to show outdated snippets after removal, the requester may need to use the relevant search provider’s removal tools.

AILensNews may update or remove content from its own website, but it cannot guarantee removal from external platforms beyond its control.

    No Automatic Admission of Liability

Removal, restriction, replacement, credit correction, or content update does not mean that AILensNews admits infringement, liability, fault, wrongdoing, or damages. AILensNews may take practical action to resolve a concern, reduce risk, protect rights, improve accuracy, or avoid dispute without accepting legal responsibility.

Similarly, a decision not to remove content does not mean that AILensNews rejects all rights of the requester. It may mean that the complaint was incomplete, unsupported, disputed, outside AILensNews control, or that AILensNews has identified a lawful basis for the content.

AILensNews reserves all rights and defences relating to published content, editorial use, copyright protection, media use, contributor submissions, and website operation.

    Recordkeeping

AILensNews may retain records of copyright complaints, takedown requests, supporting evidence, counter-responses, internal review notes, contributor communications, removal decisions, restoration decisions, legal notices, and related correspondence.

Records may be retained for legal review, compliance, audit, dispute handling, editorial accountability, rights management, abuse prevention, and protection of AILensNews interests.

AILensNews is not required to disclose internal review notes, confidential contributor communications, legal advice, internal editorial discussions, private source information, or security-related details unless required through appropriate legal process.

    Permission Requests

A user who wants to use AILensNews content, images, videos, graphics, article excerpts, thumbnails, logos, newsletters, or other protected material should seek permission before use. Permission requests should identify the content, intended use, format, duration, audience, commercial nature, distribution method, and whether the content will be modified.

Permission requests may be sent to copyright@ailensnews.com. Legal notices may be sent to legal@ailensnews.com.

AILensNews may approve, refuse, limit, condition, charge for, or revoke permission at its discretion. Permission is not valid unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative.

    Contact for Copyright Removal Matters

Copyright removal requests may be sent to copyright@ailensnews.com. Legal notices may be sent to legal@ailensnews.com. Formal correspondence may be directed to Ground Floor, 1554, Pearl Madurdaha, Kolkata, West Bengal 700107, India. where required.

Requests should clearly identify the content, provide the relevant page URL, explain the concern, include supporting evidence, and provide contact details for response. AILensNews may route copyright matters to editorial, legal, copyright, advertising, contributor management, technical, or compliance personnel depending on the nature of the issue.

    Updates to This Policy

AILensNews may update this DMCA & Copyright Removal Policy from time to time due to changes in website operations, copyright review practices, media handling, contributor processes, sponsored content review, reader feedback, rights management, removal request procedures, dispute handling, or internal legal review.

Updated versions may be posted on this page. Continued access to or use of ailensnews.com after an update means the user has had the opportunity to review the revised policy.
